Once you've submitted your application, if you need your passport back urgently for any reason, you will need to withdraw your visa application. You will need to make this request in writing. There are two options:
1. In person at the Visa Application Centre. You will need to complete and sign a withdrawals pro-forma. This form will then be sent to the Decision Making Centre who will arrange for the return of your passport either to the Visa Application Centre where you applied or to your nominated return address, by courier.
2. Send an email to the International Enquiry Service. This email will then be sent to the Decision Making Centre who will arrange for the return of your passport either to the Visa Application Centre where you applied or to your nominated return address, by courier.
Please note, if you withdraw your application, it will be voided on our systems, you will not receive a decision on this application and your fee will not be refunded. You can of course, make a fresh application at any stage.
